We aim to produce maternally strong structured sound females, muscling and milking ability without sacrificing good structure to a functional cow herd.

Bull Sales

We have bred functional bulls ready for sale that will suit most Gippsland breeders. We have already received great feed back from previous Charolais buyers.

St. Clair Charolais is owned by Greg & Jeanette McGrath, commencing our stud in 2015. We farm 330 acres at Jeetho between Korumburra and Loch.

St. Clair is situated at Jeetho – 392 Jeetho Road Victoria in the heart of South Gippsland, well known for its high rainfall with an average of 40 – 45 inches per year with very productive land producing top quality pasture bred cattle.

We have planted over 10,000 trees and have developed tracks and laneways throughout our property and pride ourselves on our standard of farming.

Since 2008 we have been beef producers, commencing our Charolais stud in 2012-13, studying the breed carefully both here in Australia and Ireland.

Farming operations …

We are very aware of what farmers demand, having farmed ourselves for 44 years. Thirty seven of those years as dairy producers, milking 300 Stud Friesian cows.

We strived for high production and profitability at all times and paralleled the same focus and drive to our beef operation. Since 2008 we have been beef producers commencing our Charolais stud in 2012-13.

Commercially we feel we know what other farmers and the beef industry need and expect, keeping a keen eye on market trends. The cattle we breed suits many situations with an emphasis on South Gippsland conditions.
